Values in Excel Application but on in Web

Post by LeeTaylor1979 »

Hi,

I have published an active form that drags numbers from 2 different cubes.

This works fine in Excel but when accessing via the Web the values for one cube will not show but are fine for the other ??????

Any ideas why ?

Thanks

Do you have a correct view formula for the 2nd cube?

Yes both the formulas are different and looking at their appropriate cubes and Dims.

As I say the formulas work perfectly in Excel just not working in Web (For one of the cubes)

Hope I have understood your Question ?

You didn't say if they were correct or not. Do you have any nested formulas? By this I mean a cell with a DBRW formula in it that is used as a parameter in another DBRW? This will work in Perspectives and blow up in TM1 Web and not give you any warning. There must hundreds of posts about this very topic. Surprised you didn't find it when you searched the forum. You did search the forum for this topic before posting didn't you????

As with all my postings a search was performed but found one post that had problem due to a column being inserted in the Active form.

I found nothing to explain why it works in Excel but not in the web using Formulas that are not nested.

My active form is split in two, the first 4 columns DBRW's look at one cube and the next section looks at another, nothing fancy just normal DBRW.

The 2 cubes on the other hand do in some cases use the same dimension and therefore the formulas look at the same cell reference.

Please post one of the formulas that don't work, as well as the formula in the cell that contains the VIEW statement.
