We got significant memory size inequality in taskmanager and statsbycube. Our StatsByCube shows about 1.6 GB, but service size is about 4 GB (yesterday it was about 30GB maybe cos of ovedfeed; now repaired).
Must StatsByCube show real memory consumption?

The }StatsByCube cube shows the memory consumed by cubes only. The total memory used by the server will include other memory consumed by the server, notably TM1's garbage pile. Have a look at Memory In Garbage in the }StatsForServer cube for this. I'd wager that most of the difference you're seeing will be in garbage.

1GB in garbage only...
