Re: Consolidation and feeders

Hi, guys I want to be sure of something, If I have a C: element named Income (formed by local, inter and other) this feeder is correct? SKIPCHECK; ['income'] = N: ['discount'] * .15; FEEDERS; ['discount'] => ['income']; is ok? probably i will not have a "not fed", but a C: can feed a N:? Hi Rodrigo...

Just guessing: I think this is because your one-but-most-favorite web frontend EV is currently already on version 9.3.

Re: Mass Element Deletion

Hi George, If you have a dimension that is used in x cubes you can create x processes that use an 'all' view as a source on these cubes. An all view will be a view with all elements selected on all dimensions and with the 'Skip Consolidated' and 'Skip Calculated' flags disabled and the 'Skip Zeroes'...

Re: Automatic security

Hi John,

I remember SPF Plus creating security rules. Could it be SPF Plus is/was running in your environment?

Re: Feeders without Skipcheck

No worries. I was confronted with an old model that needs to be revised thoroughly. I was going for a quick win but found I had to go all the way implementing S&F bottom-up in the cascade of interlinked cubes. As writing S&F on all cubes was one of the things on my list it will be my first action no...

Re: Feeders without Skipcheck

Hi Jim, I know how feeders work :ugeek: . The cube with the hashed out Skipcheck statement does not need the Feeders (well, it does from a performance perspective, but that's beside the issue here). This cube is calculating correctly without using Skipcheck/Feeders. The key thing for me was that if ...

Feeders without Skipcheck

It appears that Feeders in a rulessheet will only be triggered (processed) when in the same rulessheet the Skipcheck is actived. If not, defined (external) Feeders will not work. Yesterday I ran into a situation where I had a cube where the Skipcheck statement was hashed out, but the Feeders stateme...

Re: TM1 64bit and 32bit

Does anyone know whether strings >255 also implies that variables in TI will be able to hold strings >255 chars? This would be good in relation to the ODBCOutput function, where the current limit is really a pain.

Another option (also commercial, but I think cheaper) is: http://www.oanda.com/channels/business/ ... shtml#data

Re: Mass Element Deletion

You can also Run a list of all Elements and compare them to a list of all elements with Supress Zeors on and the ones that do not have a match are the ones you need to delete. Please note that your method cannot be used when the dimension is used in more than one cube - an element can have data loa...

Re: Mass Element Deletion

Hi Ajay, You could define an attribute 'active' on the regarding dimension and setup processes that run through an all view on the cubes using the dimension, where the processes mark the 'active' attribute when there is value loaded. After this you can run a process that deletes all elements where t...

Hi Dave,

This is a regular setup, so this should work.
Shame about missing the train wreck though..
