Re: TM1 Drill Through to relational table

Hi all, I have a number of questions related to drill to relational table. Appreciate if you can answer some or all. I have tried what i question but seems not working I have a cube with a drill through set up to a relational table. The origination cube has 2 dimensions. In the drill through proces...

Re: Cannot delete rules (Attribute cube)

Hi Olivier, I don't think this is unexpected behaviour and also not specifically related to the mentioned TM1 versions. In the TM1 Server Explorer interface you're not allowed to delete control objects (objects with a name starting with '}'). The only way (as I recall) you can delete these objects i...

Re: Blue screening 64 bit server....

Hi Steve, Still having these problems? I have tried to get feedback from the customers IT-people, but the only thing they can tell me is that they switched of a lot of HP and Altiris agents and that at a certain point the system stopped crashing... I also remember that we looked at a process doing t...

Re: ObjectDuplicate client lock

Afternoon all, This is probably a double post but I don't seem to be able to search for ObjectDuplicate as it's too common a term, if true it's intresting that so many people have this issue. Anyway let me get to the point. A small subset of my users seem to consistently suffer from the ObjectDupli...

Re: TI can't open Data Source Files

The source file is not open while running the TI process. I am also using the correct server path and not a mapped drive. The server however is started as a service. Where can I have a look at the security settings that you mentioned above? You can check on the server in the services list under whi...

Re: TM1 Comparison to Essbase

1. TM1 data can be accessed through the following interfaces: a) Excel Addin b)TM1Web or third party web applications (Olap Object, Arcplan,....) c) TM1 EV d) may be there are more interfaces that I don't know about. As far as I know most of these interfaces are read/write except may be TM1 EV but ...

Re: Blue screening 64 bit server....

Hi Steve, I ran into the same problem at a customer site with the same kind of configuration. We had a system crash every once and a while. The problem was, if I recall correctly, related to a faulty version of the HP update manager (and had nothing to do with TM1). I will ask the customer what cure...

Re: Publishing Microcharts to TM1 Web

Ian,

This weekend I ran into the following link: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sparklinesforxl/.
This is all VBA based. It's free, but I suppose this won't work in TM1Web.

Just checking: could it be that you have multiple source data rows mapping to the same cell in the cube and that you forgot to setup accumulative loading?

Re: MDX Element Comparison

Hi Steve,

I would think the function you're after is INTERSECT, but appearently you can't compare sets from two different dimensions in TM1 (tested with 9.0.3).

Actually, apart from all the OLAP stuff, it was worth it just to be told by one delegate about another open source product called "yuuguu" which is to Webex what Palo is to TM1. I guess you mean Yugma? One of the interesting things on the PALO User Conference was meeting some TM1 consultancy/resell...

Upgrade to 9.1

I have a customer who wants to upgrade to version 9.1 because they want to use EV version 9.4. What is the most reliable 9.1 version available? 9.1.3Ux?

Re: 32 bit install on 64 bit server

Hi Martin, I've installed a 32-bit 8.4.5U2 on a 64-bit box for exactly the same reason. The installation was without problems and everything is running fine. The only thing we ran into was a problem with our ODBC connection to Oracle. The Oracle drivers didn't like the parenthesis in the 'Program Fi...

Re: Feeders to calculate Totals

Hi ssp,

Are the element names shown the 'bare' element names or are these aliases? If aliases, could you rewrite the feeder so that it directly refers to the element names?
I've seen problems before where rules were not working when refering to aliases.

Re: Feeders to calculate Totals

Hi ssp, I think the subst references in your feeder are the problem - I think they will always refer to the !prod - cust in the feeder area definition ('Total Cust - Prod'). Maybe the following feeder will work? ['Quantity']=>DB('ProdCust', subst(ElpPar('cust - prod', !cust - prod, 1), 1, 1), subst(...

Re: ATTRS in TI

IF(ATTRS('GL Account',!Account,'Type') = 'Inc');
Another thing: you need to use '@=' instead of '=' when you're comparing string data.
