Re: Chores Editing TM1 Client Issues

Hello, We are using TM1 9.1 Update 2 SP 3. We just noticed a strange behaviour of our admin group Tm1 clients installed on 3 different pcs regarding chore editing. On computer 1 : It's possible to edit the chores : the Chore could be activated or disactivated The chore settings could be change ( Pr...

Re: TM1 Software Sources

and what about the issue of users not showing up as "active" when logged in? i've been with someone from Cognos today going thru our models and checking them over, she didn't even know about that major cock up caused by Cognos changing the licensing model, has that been sorted since? No, I don't th...

Re: TM1 Software Sources

Alan, The thread you added seems to be around the production release. as far as I know some the issues are fixed in U1. The issue we ran in to (Mentioned in thread) is fixed in this update. I don't think the chore problem has been fixed. We re-arranged our shcedules to work around this problem, Jim...

Re: TM1 Software Sources

I don't think you can get U2 now. Originally Cognos support suggested that we use that version but they found a critical compiler error and pulled it. They have now suggested U1. From what you are saying it looks frying pan to the fire. Do you know if any of the critical bugs have an impact on ever...

Re: TM1 Software Sources

I think they are loading these things on to FTP sites for public as and when they are needed, Jim. Yes, I couldn't speak to the loose file issue, but I know that an FTP site does still exist; it's the only way to get 9.1 SP3 U2. You have to get your rep to get Mike C has to load it onto an FTP site...

Re: V9.1 TM1.Comm.SSL SSL read error Error: 5

Morning all! I'm getting this message in the message log at the end of a sequence of dataload TIs. TM1.Comm.SSL SSL read error Error: 5 The TI process has previously been working correctly but it now seems to be behaving oddly. Obviously I'm going to take a hard look at the TI but had anyone seen t...

Re: Another Coincidence

Duncan has been busy with his alternative career just lately... http://www.mdgyn.com/index.shtml There's a joke there somewhere but maybe this isn't the place. Re: Cell Reference in SUBNM

1) So... why doesn't it work in Excel? Because if the dialog replaces the reference with the chosen element then the original reference is lost. Save the workbook and your carefully constructed formula reference is gone. The solution is to check whether the cell has references (easy to check in the...

Re: Cell Reference in SUBNM

Mock TM1 Web all you like but one thing that a TM1 websheet will do that the Excel client will not is parse cell references and invoke the subset editor popup, try it ;) This is most interesting indeed... I might play around with that and see what can be done. Provided of course that this isn;t an ...

Re: Cell Reference in SUBNM

So...the documentation clearly states that we cannot use cell references within a SUBNM function...does anyone have any workarounds? I'm fairly certain that the only workaround you can do will involve some VBA. I'm not sure what you're trying to do (i.e. what part of the formula you need to be a ce...

Yes, I can't say I love the photo part. Those photos were updated relatively recently... I basically had a full head of hair back when I first started working with TM1 and now... coincidence? :? I recall that in the old Forum we also had Anne-Marie Rodd who worked out of a consulting outfit in Brisbane, and... I can't remember her name, something like Ann Greeth Tan? Ann-Grete Tan (AG for short) works in the same firm that I do. I don't think she'd be terribly impressed or offended by this...

Re: Mixing TM1 Clients

It's a general prohibition; you'll find it mentioned in the TM1s.cfg page of the help file, specifically under the ClientVersionMaximum parameter. Good catch on the documentation note. Weeeelll... I have to admit that I didn't pick that one up from having the help files as my bedside reading. ;) It...

Re: Mixing TM1 Clients

3. I have not had any luck connecting a 9.1 client to a 9.0 server (my test was 9.1 SP3 client to 9.0 SP3 server). To be honest, I can't remember if I've ever had a lot of luck connecting newer clients to older server versions. It is possible that there is a general prohibition agains this or that ...
