Re: Inaugural UK TM1 User Group meeting

Hi Paul, I will be attending and I will bring a couple of TM1 books I've bought recently for people to have a look at. I think it's a great idea to set the first session as an open house to discuss what we would want to achieve as a User Group. I think we'd weed out the recruitment consultants prett...

Re: What should I do after I created a TM1 contributor App?

There are a few TM1 books available which include information on TM1 Contributer, otherwise speak to your managed provider about training or take one of the TM1 courses.

What do you need/ want it to do?

Re: Failed to rename in TI_Process

Are you sure you have input the code exactly as the TM1 Cookbook chapter has asked you too?

I've not reached this section just yet but hope to have a look soon.

Re: UK TM1 User Group

I'd be very interested in this, the main issue would be attaining a venue and getting someone to organise and drive it!

I have attended successful Infocat conferences in the past, perhaps they have an opinion ;)

Re: IBM Cognos TM1 Cookbook

I've bought this book and have traversed a number of it's chapters and so far have found that is it useful for the beginner as a starting point but an intermediate user would quickly find it is rarely used for it's tutorials or as a reference point given the information available in this forum and t...

Re: Documenting Structure & Data Flow

This is probably the closest you are going to get to what you want:

http://bihints.com/graphing_tm1_data_flow

However, I've never used it to generate flow diagrams as it is too detailed and our models too large.

Re: Create Year-Quarter-Month Hierarchy

Error message indicated that "can not open the cvs. file", weird, I saw data in preview. Do you still have the .csv file open when attempting to run the process? I need your helps to resolve both TI process and traditional way of importing data via text data source. As tomok suggests have a look at...

Hi,

Are you calling the process you are running? This could be another reason for it falling over,

Re: Insert Element in Dimension, Set Attribute

Edit: After engaging my brain I realised I was wrong!

Although checking through the help files for AttrInsert/ AttrDelete it doesn't mention where it needs to be placed in the TI process.
