Re: Sublime Text TM1 syntax highlighter
Thanks Paul, This will be in your user directory settings, so for me this is c:\users\psegal\appdata\roaming\sublime text 3\packages\user. Obviously you need to change as appropriate for your username etc. Now having copied the 3 files to the directory and restarted "Sublime Text 3". I dont see the ...

Re: Consolidated Financial Statements in TM1 ?
JD, If you're still out there, can you provide an update on this potential implementation of financial consolidation in TM1? Were you successful? I'm curious because I am very interested in doing the same thing but our financial reporting team is wary of being pioneers (for good reason it seems - I...

Re: Modeling HFM in TM1
Hi, Fine and ambitious project ! I have spent some months designing and building a TM1 model, working through the process and attempting to refine a generic result. I've not completed it or polished it up, its raw cubes and rules/TI, however, its had some time and thought applied and I would be open...

TM1 Applications or Excel & VBA what say you ?
TM1 Applications have been around for awhile now and I first started using them in 2010 when they were called Contributor applications and it was dam buggy. At the time we started with Excel but the users clearly pushed for a web based UI and had been sold this in pre sales so we took it on, it was ...

Spreading Hold not visable in Excel 2010 with CX
Hi
CX 10.1
Excel 2010
We have developed some nice excel forms for spreading volumes but the small red triangle that indicates a cell is "held" is not showing.
Has anyone else found this an issue with a similar setup ?

Re: Version / Scenario dimension best practice
Hi, I am not sure I fully grasp all the issues here... I would think though that one data load is enough then use rules to reference. If you want the Regulators as a dimension, then you could add a dummy element to load into, then rules reference this for the calculations. ['Risk Exposure'] = N: IF(...

Re: Actual and Forecasting
Hi hpansar, If I read what you have written correctly... I would write a STET rule for the actual version first. ['Actual','Value']=N: IF ( ATTRN( 'MonthYearFiscal', !MonthYearFiscal, 'End Date Value' ) < ATTRN( 'MonthYearFiscal', DB('Control', 'Current Actual Month' , 'String' ), 'End Date Value' )...

Re: Consolidated Financial Statements in TM1 ?
Hi Mike & Steve, Its was only the other day I was speaking to some sales guys in a meeting and they again asked me if TM1 could be used for Financial Consolidation, of which I replied yes but it depends on the complexity as to whether its the best option. They responded that at the past company they...
