Re: Unable to change JVM setting on TM1Web

Just one version on the server

I've checked the TM1 Application Server settings too and made sure that the JAVA options include:

-Xfm=24576m

and

-Xgcpolicy:balanced

Just to see if anything like the default settings can't be increased in the IBM Configuration GUI

Re: Unable to change JVM setting on TM1Web

Hi Mark

Yes I think so. The build number of the model where I can increase the JVM is "10.2.00102.40547" and the number for the model where I am having these issues is "10.2.00000.36339".

Re: Unable to change JVM setting on TM1Web

Thanks for the reply macsir.

Option 1 didn't work. I stopped the "TM1 Application Server" as suggested and tried again, but as you can see from the image, without success.Option 2 I don't believe will work as we do not have PAW/PAX so are just using "old school" TM1 10.2

Unable to change JVM setting on TM1Web

Hi Guys I am experiencing a peculiar behaviour within our TM1Web environment and reach out for some help. Recently, I found that our physical web server was lacking in memory and I established that the JVM settings were set to the default 768mb, despite the server actually having 12GB of RAM itself....

Re: Checking for Underfed cells

Thanks Wim

I've raised a ticket with IBM this morning for a full list.

"If" I get one back from them, I will post it on the forum.

Cheers

Re: Checking for Underfed cells

Hi Wim

Do you have, or could you point me in the direction of, the full list of codes for DebugUtility() function ?

I've searched for these for a while and can't locate them.

Cheers

Re: TM1 BI Package Change

Thanks Paul for getting back to me. It turned out to be a bit of a PITA using FM and so I abandoned it. It took a couple of hours to recreate the Packages manually, and copied out each report as an XML and did a find/replace for the instance name, before saving the reports back down again. Very manu...

TM1 BI Package Change

Hi All Firstly, I am hoping that I have posted this request in the correct part of the forum as this is a TM1 BI question !! I have recently needed to create a new TM1 Model/Instance, fortunately the cubes are all the same as an old one. For the old one, I had a data source connection for the packag...

TM1Web losing format on TM1RPTROW

Hi All I’m using TM1Web 10.2 and am encountering a format issue when using a published Active Form, which does not occur when using the report in Perspectives. The TM1RPTROW loses it’s formatting, as defined within the TM1RPTFMTRNG, when users double-click to expand the node on the TM1RPTROW row. Th...

Re: Application worksheets, macros and websheets

Thank you guys for getting back to me......I was away on annual leave Monday and Tuesday so apologies for not coming back sooner. @tomok - yes I completely forgot about "adding" files, rather than publishing the report directly from excel. Thankyou for reminding me about that ! @mark RMBC - the land...

Application worksheets, macros and websheets

Hi All I wanted to canvas some ideas for a direction of travel, before embarking on some development surrounding reporting from Perspectives based reports and web reports. It's common to produce a Perspectives excel report, perhaps adding some macros to it and then publishing it to the "Application"...

Re: RunTI.exe Serverconnectionfailed

Hi Darkhorse You may need to explicity tell the command to use tm1runti, I know I had too. Also, I think the "localhost" and "Admin", in your post, do not need to be inside quotation marks - I didn't need them in mine. I'm not sure about the password as I am using the encrypted password keys. Mine l...

TM1Top with Native Security

Hi Everyone I can't seem to find the answer to this, but is there a way in TM1Top, when using IntegratedSecuityMode "1" (native) to display the username as defined in the alias "}TM1_DefaultDisplayValue" instead of the actual username ? I am working where the usernames in TM1 are random alphanumeric...

TI performance during hierarchy unwind

Hi All, I'm experiencing a slow running TI process when removing a hierarchy from a dimension, during it's update. The way I am doing this, is I am creating an MDX based subset as a source for the TI, and then simply deleting each item the subset returns. I am trying to make this a little more recyc...

Setting Display Control Objects security

Hello All Does any know of where security can be set to allow a certain group, access to the Control Cubes, similar to using the menu command "View\Display Control Objects" ? I am trying to accomplish this via TI and I had - rather optimistically - thought the }Capabilities cube might contain someth...

Re: Can I add a comment line in the query box in turbo integrator

David I have used the following which is suggested by Wim, which works for me. In the "Query" box on the Datasource tab, I simply have the query to identify the columns needed on the Variables tab of the TI, which once set, I then remove the login credentials. In the "Prolog" though I have comments ...

Good spot Kamil.....wouldn't it be nice in the next version to actually have the words "OR" and "AND"

Cheers for that Kamil... and have reversed the increment too.....now working as required.

Re: Server Explorer Crash during security update

Hi Kamil

I am running the process at the moment, and I am an ADMIN, so I would have expected me to be fine, as the code should only remove clients who are not Admins.

That's what's causing me to loose more hair from my bald head ! :o
