Re: TM1ELLIST syntax to get alias

I raised a ticket and IBM support say it's a bug, and one they're not going to fix. I've figured out a workaround, but it's -ah- disappointing that IBM shipped it with this error. (Although, just to reiterate: the function works, it just won't return an alias against subset members.)

Re: TM1ELLIST syntax to get alias

PAX is 11.0.54.6, PAW is 2.0.53 and PA is 11.6, but I've tested it on PA 11.7 and I'm still just getting the base element back.

TM1ELLIST syntax to get alias

I'm have a senior moment trying to get this to work. I can get the array back, but I want to use a different alias. This just returns the base name, and I can't figure out why. =TM1ELLIST("JCG:COMPANY","Data Expected",,"Number and Name") where Number and Name is the alias. I've also tried =TM1ELLIST...

This looks like a Windows issue, rather than an api issue, see https://www.tm1forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=14157

I can recommend Pulse from Cubewise, but it's not free (as noted above).

Re: Execute Bedrock TI in Perspectives

Or you could write a TI with the same parameters as the Bedrock process you want to run, with an ExecuteProcess to the Bedrock TI.

Re: Tm1 Model restarting for no apparent reason

Short answer: yes. You will need to either reduce the size of the model or increase your RAM.

Re: Is it possible to automatically extract TM1 reports in TM1 web using VBA?

TM1 Web doesn't support VBA - the documentation is reasonably clear about this.

Re: Email Notifications for a Tm1 Application

Yes, quite possible. Look here https://exploringtm1.com/sending-emails-from-tm1-part-1/ , or search on the internet. You'll need to have the manager's email addresses stored somewhere, a manager specified per Business Unit and a submission date for each Business Unit (unless it's a standard date for...

Hi Tom,

I don't have a solution for you, I'm afraid, but I'd be interested in your migration to Cloud experience when you have a spare moment, as it's something we're about to embark on.

Re: Any risk to copy Cell Annotation values ?

So, just to hijack this thread for a moment, I'm trying to figure out a way of making comment practical.. As an example, I have a cube with exchange rates, among other dimensions, and users can put a comment (annotation, would be nice if IBM could make up their mind) against any of the exchange rate...

You could try NTLM rather than Kerberos.

Unique id should be username@domain; not sure that case makes a difference.

Re: MTCubeLoad vs MTFeeders.AtStartup vs MaximumCubeLoadThreads

So for maximum performance (in theory) these MTx parameters should be set or T as standard? Even in the case of using Persistent Feeders it's going to show a gain when for some reason they fail/get blown away.
