Re: New monitor

Guilty ! But it’s part of a much bigger AHK script which saves a lot of time. A tip for those who use the same approach as me: use the Insert key on the clipboard to start custom tools in AHK. Insert is a key that is located centrally on my keyboard and which I don’t care about giving up. I never u...

Re: New monitor

Thanks Garry and Alan. As long as you know the three ways to get around it ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXXrw1sXbD0 ) it's not really a problem. Or a 4th option that I use: write a small AutoHotKey script that changes the tm1p.ini file after pressing a shortcut key. Yyyyessss, though... Sledge...

Re: New monitor

Hello all, I am going through the process of selecting a new monitor to connect to my laptop. This should be a rather pleasant activity :-) I would go for a 27" screen with resolution of either 2560x1440 or 4K (3840x2160). However, the problem is Architect / Perspecties. Can you use it on higher re...

Re: TM1 installation

I need to install TM1 in my personal laptop, can any one suggest me where I can get software free version. If possible pls provide me URL will be more helpful. I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here and treat this post as asking whether a free version of TM1 exists. (To which the answe...

See this post.

Note that whatever you've taken a screenshot of is showing Bedrock 3 processes. Bedrock 4 ones are preceded by a brace.

Re: [Excel] Writeback in Cube with VBA

Its a bigger calculation with % Keys, its my Forecasting Tool, now i wanna try to impement an Autoupload to TM1. @Alan, i thought DB S stands for "String" and DB SS "Send String". Which is why it's kind of important to consult the reference guide . (This is an older version's copy but IBM keep shif...

Re: [Excel] TM1 Get Value from Cube VBA

You don't put the arguments to DBR in brackets like that when you are using Application.Run. DBR is the first argument (in quotes), and the other arguments are separated by commas.

Re: What's coming up in the TM1 Server?

Sounds interesting. Personally I think they should find something that actually CAN replace the TI part. Otherwise we will have three different "languages". I'm not sure that would be possible or even desirable. Hubert said that his intention was to provide an alternative to what people are current...

Re: What's coming up in the TM1 Server?

Thx for sharing! I'm very curious to hear more about that "scripting language" in the coming years. In a way I hope that its not a new language but just regular javascript or python or something. There isn't that much more to hear yet; as Hubert said, options are still being explored. At a previous...

Pro tip: Keep your eyes on the right hand side of the screen.
So, apparently you're not Mark Harmon's twin. Surprise, surprise.
Add a few cm, take off more than a few kg, close enough.

I don't believe this; they STILL haven't fixed this as of 2.0.6. Re: Active Form Auto-Rebuild

I know I should know the answer to this but is there a setting somewhere that will cause an Active Form to rebuild automatically whenever a new value is selected from a SUBNM formula in TM1web? Interestingly I can't find a way to make that NOT happen in PA2. I know that in older versions I did some...

Communal activity - nominate your favourite FAQ

The once-mighty FAQ thread is in desperate need of a refurbishment. Dust, cobwebs, and references to sub-versions of version 8 can be found everywhere. At present it looks like a deceased estate. Rather than just rely on what I think should be in there, here's an opportunity for everyone to nominate...
