Websheet Refresh Button in WORKSPACE

Hi Expert, I have an active Form with a Rebuild Sheet Button. When I added the websheet in Workspace the Button does not work. I know that I can find the Rebuild Sheet icon in the toolbar, but my users dont want that. They prefer a very visible Button on the websheet. I tried the Button function, bu...

Re: Websheet function: find the Group of a user

You are absolutely right Mark. I only have 5 groups, and I have an if statement in my worksheet which reads each group for my user and tests if it is empty or not. My problem, is the one user who belongs to 2 groups. my if statement stops as soon as I get the group. the 'temporary' solution I found,...

Re: Websheet function: find the Group of a user

ok, i have to be more specific. the websheets checks for which sec group the user belongs to, and applies color scheme. (grey if read, white if write). this works perfectly for all users, except one, because he belongs to 2 different groups. I dont know how to resolve that. it works for him for grou...

Re: Websheet function: find the Group of a user

Thank you Tomok.
So the only way, is to look into the cube and see if the intersection between the user and the group is non empty?
I want to do it in a spreadsheet. it becomes a little cumbersome.
But yes, I can do it this way.

Websheet function: find the Group of a user

Re: subnm with variable overriden

Thank you all. Yes, this is exactly what I meant. and I am using it on Tm1web. I just realized that I could have said this: I have this command: Subnm (sdim, $E$9 , 1) in E9 I have the name of a subset (that is variable). If the user stays in the subset, it continues to work. But if he chooses anoth...

Re: subnm with variable overriden

I created a subset of accounts for each cost center. lets say cc200 , i create a subset on the account dim called sub200 ( containing 4 accounts -level 1 in the hierarchy. not deployed to leaf level) the user chooses his cost center (straight subnm command) cc200 the next subnm command, is on the ac...

subnm with variable overriden

Hi expert, i have a websheet with 2 title headers. 1- What cost center? 2- Depending on the cost center chosen, the subset shows only the accounts (level1) of that cost center (subnm with variable). everything works perfectly. Change the cost center, the list of accounts change too UNTIL ... the use...

Rule to find Leaf Level of all dimensions in cube

Hi Experts,

is there a 1 rule that help find the leaf level of all dimensions in a cube.
I know ELLEV will do each dimension. I can nest the Ifs.
But I am looking for a shortcut. (I have 10 dimensions in the cube).
Thanks.

Thank you very much Wim. I have been doing exactly what you suggested for the last 6 years.
I was wondering if there is something more 'clever' found by the experts.
