Re: Active Forms with Filters

Thanks Wim and Tomok. I need some more help. This is the code I see and where should I add? =TM1RPTROW($B$9,"ABC:Projects","",'{AR}01'!$B$16:$B$17,"Number And Name",0) I tried to add it towards the end, but it's erroring out. From the syntax, I placed it in the MDXStatement and in SubsetElements and...

Re: PAW Replace Columns with Element Attributes

Thanks Lotsaram and Declnar.
In the picture I have attached, I was thinking they are not from attribute dimension. When we can drill using attribute hierarchies, cant we show them as columns not nested?

Thanks,
Paul.

Re: PAW Replace Columns with Element Attributes

Thanks for the reply Declnar.
By creating alternative hierarchies, the attributes will get nested as columns. I want all attributes to stand together as columns.

Thanks,
Luther.

Re: Error launching PAW 2.0.6

Hi Dharav,
Is your TM1 server running on "Security Mode =5"? Once this is done, it's all in the Configuration of PAW Admin Tool page.
I have attached a sample of how it should look.

Thanks,
Paul.

Hi Gurus, I have a requirement to add a few new attributes and the current dimension already has 60 attributes with 25K elements. I want to know the best practice surrounding the details. We are currently on 10.2.4 and will be on PA 2.0.4 very soon. What are the pros and cons? Specially when we can ...

Re: Contributor Grid opens in Chrome and Firefox but not in IE

Hi All, Thanks. I found the solution. The reason was that in the file "pmpsvc_config.xml" I did not put "https" and instead, I had "http". The moment I added "s", the issue got resolved. <client id="thinClient" type="html-new" uri="https://aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.com/tm1web/Contributor.jsp"> Thanks, Paul.

Manage Rights - What role is required in Cognos BI

Hi Gurus, When I run manage rights in TM1-Contributor, what permissions should be I have on Cognos side? It works when I am added to sys admin group. CM-REQ-4024 The name "XXXXXXXX" conflicts with the names of existing object(s)

Hi Gurus, TM1 - version PA-2.0.4 BI - version - 11.1 This has been explained earlier to delete the application on the BI side and it works. When I delete, it works but the application state is lost (all ownership details are lost.) Is there a way to hold the application state (without taking backup)...

Re: TM1 - External URL - PA2.0.4 - Contributor Grid Fails to Load

Thanks Ykud and Paul for responding.

We are now in the process of getting the certificate signed by the CA. We did not have to do all this for TM1 10.2.2.
We have opened a ticket with IBM and suggested we do what Ykud suggested. Hopefully, it works. Thanks again for your suggestions.

Thanks,
Paul.

There are 44 views and no responses. I hope we are the only ones implementing. We are stuck on this for about 15 days now. Can someone post your answers if you have encountered the situation.

Thanks,

TM1 - External URL - PA2.0.4 - Contributor Grid Fails to Load

Hi Gurus, We are trying to implement External URI in TM1 -in PA 2.0.4 and when I try to open contributor grid, it's blank. "External Server URI" portion of configuration is used when users are not on intranet. I have changed some code in pmpsvc_config.xml, fpmsvc_config.xml and tm1web_config.xml. Am...

Re: Manage Rights when a big chunk of elements are deleted

Thanks for all your ideas Ykud, Elessar, Lotsaram and Wim G.
I tried to run the ideas presented by Elessar and it did not get a positive result. May be a server restart might provide. I will be trying other ideas as I proceed.

Thanks again for your inputs.

Paul.

Re: Manage Rights when a big chunk of elements are deleted

Hi Elessar, Thanks for the reply. It takes about an hour for SecurityRefresh normally. On PA 2.0.4 and 2.0.6, it takes about 1.5 hours. Since it was taking longer, I asked IBM and they gave us an interim fix and that does not complete securityRefresh. It stops before completing with an error as belo...
