Re: Tm1 Web View

Do you think that enabling this parameter the view cube will not concatenate the elements of dimensions anymore?

So the elements would repeat?

Thanks a lot.

Re: Tm1 Web View

Hi,

I do not think that is a bug because tm1web concatenate the values that repeat and in my case there is eight dimensions on rows.

Maybe because of that the view is not nice on tm1web.

But I will check the possible to contact the support of IBM.

Thanks a lot,

JR

Tm1 Web View

Hi guys, I have a cube with many dimension and I have to put some of them on rows. The problem is that tw1web concatenate the values when the value of a dimension repeats and the visualization of it is not good for the user. I would like to know if there is a way to solve the problem: View on TM1 Ar...

Re: Question - Stack Overflow

Hi Jim,

Nothing happens with memory because the process is aborted right after the run.

Thanks for your reply.

Sounds like you're over feeding to me. But it could be something else, you've not given much to go off. Do you see any spikes in memory when you attempt the load?

Jim.

Question - Stack Overflow

Hi, I am trying to update data on cube using TI from a CSV file and many times the process is aborted with the message "stack overflow". The problem is that is not generated a log file with the error, so I cannot know exactly what should be done to solve the problem. I have read some topics here in ...

Re: Copy Process

Hi,

I used your tips and I found the error.

The problem is on source view, where I was using two elements instead of one. I changed it and worked.

Thanks a lot.

Copy Process

Hi guys, I have a process to copy data from one cube (calculated version) to another one (historical data), but the problem is when I do this copy using a view from the first cube as source, the value that is copied is diferent. This could be a feeder problem? I checked all values using check and tr...

Re: TI Problem

Hi! You are right, I forgot this important detail on execute process. Sorry about that and thanks for your reply. Best regards, JR. When you run a process via ExecuteProcess, the syntax is normally ExecuteProcess(Param1Name, Param1Value, Param2Name, Param2Value...ParamXName, ParamXValue). Your code ...

Hi Paul, I have this process here that runs ok: img1.JPG Then I run another process that calls the first one with the same parameters and the process is aborted: img2.JPG This is very crazy and I could not understand what is happening. Re: SubsetElementInsert

Now I got it. I have tested and it worked. Thanks a lot for helping me guys. Best regards, JR If you only run: ViewCreate(pCube, sView); and nothing further, you will notice that the each of the dimensions references a subset called "All". THis is what Lotsaram was saying about not having to assign ...

Ok, I understand. I will try now and if I have any doubts I post here. Thanks a lot, JR So on ViewSubsetAssign I can only put the default subset of dimension and it will pick all n elements? Even with new elements you are not forced to create a (dynamic) subset. TM1 will default to all lowest level elements (cells).

Re: SubsetElementInsert

Even when you have new elements being added to the dimension? I have created a dynamic subset for level n elements to be sure that the process will clean all the data. Is that also wrong? Thanks for helping. JR. If you already have an All N subset, assign that to your view to be zeroed out. Alternat...

Re: SubsetElementInsert

Hi, when you say "assign that to your view to be zeroed out", I must have to do that using the "ViewSubsetAssign"? Thanks a lot. If you already have an All N subset, assign that to your view to be zeroed out. Alternatively, create dynamic subset for All N using SubsetCreatebyMDX. You should be able ...

Re: ODBC Driver Manager

Hi,

I realize that the ODBC connection was 32-bit while the server was 64-bit. Then we did the connection again as 64 bits and it seems to solve it.

Thank you!
