Re: Auto-complete and Function picker for MDX in PAW/PAfE set editor

So you are going to reduce the stream of visitors to my MDX page ? IBM should just pay you to maintain that functionality within the set editor. :-D But that page is still the number one go to place for anything related to MDX for TM1. <-- Just wanted to add that appreciation! :-P And YES IBM...

Re: Admin access - Read Only

I think you can make the user part of the ADMIN group and use the read-only flag. That should work. But is a bit risky because some day IBM might realize that this does not make sense.

Re: tm1py: count and list TM1 users

Thanks for sharing Wim! I have one idea which could increase performance, guess instead of checking all cubes for all groups of every user you could generate a list of groups with WRITE-access and then checking if a user is in one of those groups on the list. Had no time to try that out.

Re: tm1py: count and list TM1 users

If you have several TM1 models, you could loop over ports. Here I assume the same username, password, SSL. You could get the instances listed at the admin server with a useful function and retrieve ssl and port from there. # get modules from TM1py.Utils import get_all_servers_from_adminhost from TM...

Re: PA 2.07 - }ClientProperties cube

AFAIK (remerbing our license audit this year) they are explicitly asking for the isdisabled property because those users are most likely not counted.

Re: tm1py: count and list TM1 users

Hi Wim, I presented something similar at the Cubewise TM1 Horizon a couple of weeks ago. You can find my example on github: https://github.com/scrumthing/tm1py_tm1horizon2020/blob/master/tm1horizon_showcase..ipynb That is a summary of how we do it at Deutsche Bahn with our 70+ instances. My remarks ...

Re: Do not overwrite Values for Dates older yesterday - TM1 TI

The easiest solution might be if I understood you correctly to make it two processes. One for each value and one is run weekly and the other on a daily basis. The SQL query for the weekly one could be changed by using the sql server datetime functions in a WHERE clause.

 I just wrote a long answer for this topic and just as I wanted to post it the thread got split. So now you will only get a shorter version of my opinion. Bedrock is great stuff and we can learn so much from the code Bedrock is really dangerous because people suddenly think they can do ce...

Re: Do not overwrite Values for Dates older yesterday - TM1 TI

I read it a couple of times as well and still don't get it.
If you want to avoid a cellincrement for a specific date you can simply use an if-clause for that. But I am not sure if that in any way helps you because i am really not sure what you want do achieve.

Re: Use FAP dimensions in other cubes?

I would never use the FAP dimensions in another cube. Always copy it. I am not sure (my last project involving cognos controller was a while ago) if those dimensions get destroyed in any way when new data gets published. So MAYBE that is an issue. I only remember never to use them. :-)

Feeder related entries in message log

Hey guys, I am trying to get a hang of the information written into the tm1 message log during startup of the server. Try to figure out what tm1 is saying regarding feeders. I generally have logging set to YES for control cubes.
I agree. There are so many things in control cubes of which I want to keep track. But the stats cubes are not. There you definitely need no logging.

I am not 100% sure if it the same thing. But we have issues with the CAM keystone in 2.0.9.1 as well. So far I know of no solution besides waiting (and hoping) for 2.0.9.2.

Found something that solves #2 issue - removes single quotation mark. I think that code below can be adapted to resolve #1 issue same time.. Yes, you could do that easily with the snippet. But I would stay with Wims suggestion to add a second alias or if you only need it for your export a simple te...
