Re: Virtual Cubes

I have some old notes regarding how to create a virtual cube - this may provide some insight. I personally never done this but had this old doc hidden in some archives

Re: Upgrade to 9.5.2

You can also go in the registry and under HKEY_local_machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Services search for your Tm1 service name (ex Planning Sample)

Check the keys to see if they are pointing to the proper locations

Re: How to disable annoying question after exiting TM1 Archi

Jeez I have to admit this is pretty bizzare. It could be bug with Tm1 version 9.5.0. Is anyone else in your company running into the same problem? I am wondering if it is machine specific more than Tm1..just a thought

Re: How to disable annoying question after exiting TM1 Archi

Make sure all your Tm1 clients are closed (tm1 architect or Perspectives)
Then remove all your tm1p.ini files (delete them)
Launch your Tm1 client again (tm1p.ini will get recreated)

see what happens then

Re: How to disable annoying question after exiting TM1 Archi

Check to see if you have multiple tm1p.ini files on your system. Tm1 may be picking up parameters from another tm1p.ini

Re: What is interim fix in TM1 9.5.2?

I would consider this an anomally. Becuase of the nature of this particular bug and how Critical it was (dealing with data integrity) special permission was granted to put this Hot FIx on Fix Central. The normal Hot Fix policy is all Hot Fixes must be sent by the IBM Global Defect Escalation Team on...

Re: Citrix & TM1 oddities

Suggestion: One thing you could do is have your Citrix admin run a CDF trace on Citrix box CDF Within Citrix there is a tool called CDF (Citrix Diagnostic Facility). This tool seems to have been built to capture diagnostics for Citrix Support to look at. This would be a valuable tool to get Citrix i...

Re: Missing title elements in a view, TM1 9.5 and up

Some new updates on this one as it is effecting a lot of users running win7 x64. At first I thought it had to do with laptops only and specifically Dell ones as the IBM thinkpads in house did not display this problem. However in one of the earlier threads this was reported on an HP so there goes tha...

Re: IdleConnectionTimeOutSeconds --Default Value

By default IdleConnectionTimeOutSeconds parameter is set to 0. Meaning without this parameter set (to some legnth of time in seconds) idle users in Perpsectives will not get automatically logged out.

A common time in seconds seems to be 900 (15 minutes)

Re: Extended TM1top

Just an observation but if anyone is trying to use this Tm1Top version beyond 9.1.x you will run into problems because there is no tm1sip.dll created for Tm1 versions 9.4 >.

Gentlemen Just to clarify somethings 91sp3u2 was a windows only build (x86, x64 and IA64) Solaris and HPUX was not because of time and build issues not because of problems with u2 version itself Next release is 9.4 which is scheduled to be release end of this month however first wave will be Windows...
