Re: tm1py not connecting

Looks like you are using SSO. I was having the same issue with SSO, only by entering my credentials (LDAP credentials) I was able to get it to work. When trying to connect with SSO, I was getting Status Code: 401 Reason: Unauthorized. We are using mode 2. Give it a go and see if it works with explic...

Re: RushTI execution error

Which TM1 server version are you using? The ExecuteWithReturn function used by RushTI was introduced in a more recent PAL version, 2.0.4 or 2.0.5. So if your server is 10.2.2 or early v11 it won't work. Resolved it by downloading an earlier release "https://github.com/cubewise-code/rushti/releases/...

Best to ask on the RushTI github page? https://github.com/cubewise-code/rushti/issues
I have asked on GitHub as well, but since tm1forum has more active participants, I thought I would ask here too.
Thanks

RushTI execution error

Hi, Has anyone here used RushTI successfully yet? Background: Running Python 3.6.7150.0 Due to restriction on a cloud server (cant download and use pip install TM1py), I had to paste TM1py package manually into ...\Python36\Libs. I have tested Rest API connection to the server with check.py (in Tm1P...

Re: Parallel data loads and TM1runTI, Hustle

Hi Evgeny, I cannot quite confirm this: 2. Hustle - TM1RunTI with inbuilt queuing mechanism, but has a limitation where threads must be ran under different users, as when user thread logs out and another thread tries to log back in (under the same user account) it creates a lock. Potentially a lot ...

Re: TM1 - CAMPassport and CAMNamespace

CAMPassport is user's authentication token in TM1 and it's alive for the duration of user's session
CAMNamespace is an authentication Namespace set up in you CAM (you can have many namespaces)

Re: MTCubeLoad

Hi,

2 Cents, MTCubeLoad does not affect feeder processing at all, MTFeeders do.

Please look at this thread where this topic has been discussed in details:

Re: Bedrock 4 for IBM Planning Analytics is available

I like the new Parallelization option. Still up to a developer to make sure a process does not exceed maximum available threads or just simply use RushTI?

Cheers

Re: RunProcess and threads

Hi Guys

Although I have not used RunProcess just yet, but if I understand it correctly by using Rest API, TM1 does not need to log the user in and out (causing a lock) anymore as it used to happen with TM1RunTI? Typical workaround used to be to create a tone of admin accounts...

Re: LOCKS on subset and views wheen mtq > 0

Hi, Apologies, but I'm still not following. In the nutshell there is no relationship between TM1 Lock model and MTQ. MTQ leverages multiple processing threads to process a Cube View under certain conditions, one of those being ViewExtractSkipCalcsSet (cube, view,0). Am I correct to assume that you a...

Given that Hustle has to be installed on the server is anyone using it on the IBM Cloud?
Havent used the Hustle, but have used RunTi on the cloud. DevOpps have to create a special LDAP service account for it to work.

Re: Parallel data loads and TM1runTI, Hustle

In addition, can someone compare the different options we have for parallel loading (TM1runTI.exe, Hustle.exe, RushTI.exe, scheduling chores, ...) with the new RunProcess Turbo Integrator function ? This could be a useful alternative, given that no other software is needed and the only change that ...

Re: Rest API behaviour

Thanks for the pointer. We are on v11.3.00000.27 and as I can tell from the documentation, Execute has been depreciated in this version while ExecuteWithReturn has been introduced: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/SSD29G_2.0.0/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.tm1_nfg.2.0.0.doc/c_nfg_tm1_rest_api_...

Rest API behaviour

Hi Guys, I'm observing some odd behavior when trying to call a process via Rest API (in Postman). It works as expected until I force the TI to ProcessQuit by introducing invalid parameter value. When I run the same process from TM1, ProcessQuit works as expected. In TM1 Logs I get an following error...

Hi, You code is showing a subset creation procedure, MTQ is applicable for data reads under following conditions: Queries exceeding 10,000 cell visits. Creation of TM1 ‘stargate’ vew. Views containing the results of rule derived calculations. Sorry, what do you mean by Parallel Unloading? Thanks ET

Re: JAVA Extension

Hi Mate, As far as I know this has been depreciated in PA. Based on your profile you are on 10.2.2, but given its going out of support in the near future, I would not be investing my time into Java Extensions. Rest API is the way forward. There are open-source Python wrappers available online that l...

Re: MTCubeLoad vs MTFeeders.AtStartup vs MaximumCubeLoadThreads

Hi From my reading of this, for most people, MTFeeders.AtStartup should be set to False, since most of us use conditional feeders Regards Paul Simon Yes, it's very true. I guess you can try your earnest to avoid conditional feeders but would seem rather hard in any drive-based planning model. Proba...
