Re: PAX REST API

Hi,
Good to know. Yes, I suspect that you can't use double quotes to escape double quotes in json string. I didn't test but reading from google, you could try to use chr(34) to replace it.
e.g,
String = "This is the Test only." & chr(34) & "double ok" & chr(34) & "."

Re: PAX REST API

Hi Gurus! Struggling a bit to get the PAX REST API to work. Below is the syntax for the GET request, but I can't find any references (in the documentation, or on the web) to JSONObjectWrapper or JSONParser . Where can I find these, do you know? Public Function oDataGet(path As String) As JSONObject...

Re: How to get top parent of an element ?

Looks like Ascendants only returns all parents in the first rollup?1.PNG2.PNG Yes seems to be the case. I just checked with Ancestors function and seems to be the same restriction. This will get you the one level down including the target:

Code: Select all

TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER( {[test2].[c]}, ALL)
will return c and d only.
Thanks :)

Auto Recalculate for Cube Viewer

Hi, all I am just wondering if there is any hidden or undocumented function to enable Auto Recalculate for a Cube Viewer? So that when a user open a default view with that enabled already. Similar to other functions, like ViewRowSuppressZeroesSet, ViewRowDimensionSet etc. The reason is that all our ...

Re: MDX for getting Parent and Children

I think I found the root cause of this different behavior. Forget about the ampersand in the parent. It is just collapsed/expanded status of [c] in the dimension that impacts the different behavior of TM1FILTERBYPATTERN function. In multiple rollups for [c] in the dimension, TM1FILTERBYPATTERN funct...

The TM1FILTERBYPATTERN function here gives me the right result after adding asterisk in it but still not give me right result after combining with TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER funtion. 33.PNG Literally, the following two are the same things, { [test2].[c] } But this gives me the right result all the time. {TM...

Re: MDX for getting Parent and Children

Thanks. OK, my original purpose is to use TM1DRILLDOWNMEMBER to get just one level down from that parent, which is this one (add another child for d). See below,

Re: MDX for getting Parent and Children

Hi, after testing around, I think I can replicate the issue. Very simple, as long as the parent exists in multiple rollups and one of grandparent has "&" in between , then it won't show the children of the parent. See the snapshot, Dim structure h1.PNG After MDX h2.PNG No difference for using TM1DRI...

Re: MDX for getting Parent and Children

Doesn't seem to behave differently. Though it might be worth trying: { [DimName].[Consol1], [DimName].[Consol1].Children } { [DimName].[Consol2], [DimName].[Consol2].Children } rather than filtering by pattern. Thanks, yes, that's exactly what I did after failure on filtering by pattern. But just w...
