Hey guys,
I am facing and issue connecting my Cafe to TM1.
I have entered correct external URI, which test fine.
But when I click on logon, it says "Server List unavailable".
Has anybody faced this issue?

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
Hi abhijit4569, have you found where the problem was ? I got the same just when TM1 was passed to FP6 and SSL was updated, it drove me crazy There was not such a problem in the testing environment To make things worse, IBM seemed to remove an interesting support page on the topic : www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21658069abhijit4569 wrote:

Check your pmhub settings
Can PMhub see your servers? (pmhub/pm/tm1/servers)
Download and install Fiddler to check the comms between CAFE and the PMHub

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
thank you dsproffitt for the prompt reply, pmhub/pm/tm1/servers gave me nothing, which is in contrary to the testing environment. So the problem is between pmhub and tm1 application server ?dsproffitt wrote:Check your pmhub settings

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
After the SSL updater for the Provisioning Agent was applied, the issue was solved, CAFE could finally reach TM1 servers.
I thought this updater was not mandatory, SSL for PM could be updated on Client, and it had nothing to do with CAFE, but it turned out to be wrong
Notice that I tried also first the SSL Client updater for PM on Server before the one for Provisioning Agent, it didn't work.
Curious what exactly did these 2 updaters.
Good night

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
The provisioner does nothing to the pmhub.
It only works on the planning service. pmpsvc.
Whatever you did, you had already done it. It might have updated your java environment, but that would be it. It is written for JRE 1.6 & 1.7

Re: CAFE: Cognos Analysis for Excel Error
Finally we still have one server which can not be updated properly, CAFE can not fetch the list of servers. I've posted also in ibm DW forum.dsproffitt wrote:The provisioner does nothing to the pmhub.
