Clients disconnect from CXMD, Cognos Express 9.5

Hi,
We have a problem that randomly clients (while working in Excel) are disconnected from TM1 server with the following error message:
"Error -2 occurred pinging your cognos passport. You will now be disconnected from cxmd"

We have modified the setting for ClientPingCAMPassport in the tm1s.cfg file from 900 to 110, restarted the services but this seems to have no effect on the problem.

Installed version: Cognos Express 9.5

Any help or assistance with the problem will be appreciated.
