.xls form in Excel 2007

Post by viswaraju »

HI,
I have developed a hierarchy in excel sheet to create a new cube through TI, after saving the excel it has saved in .xls form but i have excel 2007 in my configuration, the issue is when i want to extract it into TI the file did not open. In fact i can not able see the file in TI.
My doubt is in excel 2007 it show be in .xlsx format where as it is in .xls form. So, i was unable to extract it.
I have closed file(excel sheet), while in process.

Example.

I have done an Cashflow statement format in excel 2007 and saved it.When i went to process, i was unable see it when opted for Text in TI.
Please can help me in this.

thanks and regards.

If you're using a data source of text it shouldn't be either an .xls or an .xlsx; you should be saving it as a comma delimited text file.
