Contributor questions

I have few questions regarding contributor. Please help me with these questions

1. Is there any way we can create approval hierarchy with 2 parent elements
2. If a lower level person make changes and submits the changes, those changes are reflecting in the cube. My requirement is after lower level person submits the data, until and unless higher level person review and approve it it must not show up on the cube.
Is this scenario possible?

1. No.
2. Not with normal contributor as far as I know. You could have a second scenario that is ruled across from the scenario that users write to and use the Contributor control cube to determine when the values get ruled across between the two scenarios.
