Action Buttons - funnies when freezing panes

Hi there
I have an action button on my Excel 2003 sheet to refresh data.
When I freeze panes, and scroll to the left or right. the action button formatting gets messed up - often the caption on the button disappears, and sometimes the button seems to duplicate itself. If I click onto another Excel sheet, and then return, the problem is rectified.......
Any ideas?
