Hi All,

Just trying to find out what I need client side as a minimum spec to enable our users to use cognos connection and the studios. We have IE6 and Java 1.4 as standard, I know IE6 is supported but can't find out what the lowest version of Java we can get away with is.

Can anyone help, the IBM page only mentions Java versions in relation to the SDK.

For end-users, there is no client-side requirement for Java. Cognos Connection and the Studios are pure HTML with Javascript. All they need is IE.

Modelers will need to install Framework Manager on Windows.
