Hi there
In the cube viewer, capturing in data at a consolidated level automatically spreads the data down. Do you know if there is any way to prevent this?

Hi,
There are many options:
There are many options:
- Use CellSecurity to make consolidated cells 'READ"
- Use ElementSecurity to make consolidate elements 'READ" (better than point "1", because Elementsecurity is precalculated on SecurityRefresh, and CellSecurity is recalculated each time view is recalculated)
- Use CapabilityAssignments: https://blog.octanesolutions.com.au/wor ... ere-is-how

And if you want to keep Spreading enabled for some of the users, you should consider turning OFF this option
ProportionSpreadToZeroCells=F
By default this is turned on and in my experience this is dangerous
