A maniac list of new functions...

Hi Fellows,
I've just came across this new maniac list of functions ( or maybe just new to me
)

Seems to me over-engineered, surely IBM could get away with a short list by adding some kind of 3rd parameter ( Boolean flag ) ?
I feel that efforts would be much more fruitful if they went down a road of adding "useful" stuff like CASEs, ARRAYs, DO WHILE / UNTIL loops etc.
Reminisces of those Blah blah blah | Direct functions ... ( guilty
