My file that I drag and drop:
I read that this functionality is not yet added to PA local but in the cloud it should work. My test is a cloud environment from IBM Cloud Concierge with PA 2.0.33.
When I drag and drop a file onto a cube, without using a process, I get an error message:

Not going to be too much help but think you already know that an HTTP code of 500 relates to permissions. Guessing you cannot create the upload file on the Cloud instance. Not sure if this is by design with the sample/test environment through Concierge.
