Why does anyone ever use scripting / programming?

But hey, if you would prefer to get a stack of printouts from your ERP system, and type every element name into the dimension editor, then manually create any attributes and type those in as well, then manually assign all of the dimensions to the cube via the GUI... then nobody is stopping you.

And if you find that the design of the cube needs to be changed before it's released to production, and would prefer to re-do the entire process from scratch rather than tweaking a few lines of code and re-running it... then again you're more than welcome to do that.

One of the suggestions is working with a professional in TM1 development.

Is your company not willing to hire someone to ramp up their in-house staff?

You're not going to get very far in the TM1 world if you are going to continually wait for someone else to tell you how to do everything. Do you think it may have something to do with the currency sign? Did you try removing it and see if that made a difference?

This forum can't teach you, how to design a tm1 database/ti script or the basics of the work with data. that is something you have to do by yourself

if you don't have someone to learn from, study the guides:

https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... -gen2.html
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... -gen2.html
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... -gen5.html
https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgece ... -gen6.html

there is a weekend comming, so go for it.
when you tried, post what you want and what you tried (incl. code). Help will come then, i'm sure.

Best regards
