Hello
I have an active form within excel. I want to right information on the right hand side of the active form without it being part of the active form.
I have tried to change the name range of the TM1RPTDATARNG1 range so that it only goes up to a certain column. however when i update the active form it over writes my changes to the TM1RPTDATARNG1 and includes all column.
Does anybody know how i can get around this, so that an active form does not include all columns?
Thanks a lot for any help you can give
jaimie

Re: TM1RPTDATARNG1
An active form deletes all rows within its range as it is rebuilt, so regardless of whether a column is "part of" the active form or not any data in those ROWS will be deleted.
You can put things "outside of" your active form in the sense that it isn't part of the active forms view (e.g. other cubes etc) but it still relies on the fact that the formula is placed in the top row and will cascade down accordingly.
