Hi guys

Just want to share this piece of information since I was unable to find it online.

I installed TM1 Perspective Client 9.5.1 (32-bit)on a 64-bit Server 08 but when trying to connect to the Admin Server I received the error message:"Unable to connect to server."
Long story short : The TM1 Client uses NETBIOS in order to query for the Admin Server you provided in the config. If NETBIOS is disabled it will fail right away and a Wireshark capture will show no traffic at all to the destination address(Admin Server). So if you have problems it might be worth checking your NETBIOS settings.

Hope this is useful to someone. This issue was driving me crazy for some time! :-)
