Adding to the increasingly popular topic of TM1 with report studio, is there any way to expose a subset defined in TM1 to a report?
(ie can we make a subset 'draggable' from the hierarchy viewer into a report).

C8 BI does not currently see any TM1 Subsets or Views. The next release is supposedly going to be friendlier to TM1. You have to recreate those subsets in C8

Does anyone know if Cognos 10 can see TM1 subsets?

Re: TM1 Subsets in Report Studio
It doesn't look like any of the 10.1 studios can yet see TM1-created Views and Subsets. You do have the option of TM1 Web and Executive Viewer portlets, though, which obviously do support your existing TM1 Views and Subsets. But, I realize that's not quite the same thing as being able to select an existing TM1 View or Subset in Analysis Studio, Business Insight, etc.

Re: TM1 Subsets in Report Studio
You have to use one of the Studio tools in BI to create the sets. There is no simple set of steps to list out because there are many different kinds of sets that can be created using various methods in TM1 and BI. As far as Views go, you would create reports in BI that mimic the rows/columns/and filters that you have defined in TM1. Again, that is a big topic and not simply summarized in forum post.
