FORUM OUTAGE - Updating PHP and phpBB version

Post by Martin Ryan »

I'm going to update the PHP version and the phpBB version too in the next few days, evening time in New Zealand (about 7 or 8am GMT).

It shouldn't take too long but keep an eye on the Facebook or Twitter feeds if it's down for more than ten minutes. I'll post on there when I start and finish and post updates if it starts going pear shaped.

Sorry, I didn't get to it last week. My four month old baby hasn't co-operated with my plans. I'll probably have another crack next week. Again, I'll post on Facebook/Twitter when I start so if the forum's down check there to check if I've started.

Forum and PHP version now updated. Seemed to go smoothly. Only potential conflict is with the email notifications so let me know if you see any problems.
