Re: Anaplan overview and Anaplan VS TM1 :)
I watched the Anaplan vs TM1 video, which only briefly mentions TM1 and has some inaudible criticism of it (can anyone else make out what is said at the 40 sec - 1 min mark?), then goes into Anaplan.
They use a BI/EPM quadrant to categorise the various technologies in this space into quadrants - Analytics, Management and Reporting, Enterprise Planning, and Modelling. "IBM Cognos" sits in the Enterprise Planning quadrant;
> why?
> and why is it in this quadrant, as opposed to, say, Analytics?
> and what is the definition of each quadrant, and why does each product only sit in one?
> and does Anaplan sit in all four?
