World of Watson 2016

Post by jim wood »

Guys,

Who has made to the conference this year? We should meet up for a beer or 3. I've already seen Mr Watrs and I believe that Mr Cowie is around. Anybody else?

Jim.

I'm not there. (Unless it's being held in Rome, in which case I'll make the effort.) But when I saw "World of W..." in the e-mail notice about this post followed by your name, you can guess where my thoughts went...
"To them, equipment failure is terrifying. To me, it’s 'Tuesday.' "

I can indeed guess Alan. All I've heard all week is WOW and PA. Which is bit difficult to get used to with playing WOW and working for Port Authority (of New York and New Jersey)

Jim:

Sorry I missed you among the 20K or so people! I saw Mr. Waters a few times, but that was about the only familiar non-IBM'er face I saw.

I heard you were there but I don't think Quebit had a stand this year? I was on the expo floor (Our stand was small and was really poorly located) pretty much all the time. I managed to attend a couple of good sessions mind,
