I work in HR for IBM UK and am looking for a TM! Principle Consultant.

Location - anywhere in the UK

The UKI Business Analytics organization is a group of approx 40 people comprised of Managers, Project Managers, Solution Architects and Consultants all focused on delivering professional services to create business solutions for our customers using the Business Analytics technologies – Cognos Planning, Business Intelligence, TM1, Controller, FSR, XBRL, SPSS.
The Principal Consultants primary responsibility is to work with customers and perform the role of expert on application development for existing or new TM1 applications.

The Principal Consultant takes leadership of the solution design adhering to Proven Practice. Typically the Principal Consultant will facilitate design workshops to challenge and interrogate the requirement, presenting options and observations demonstrating a truly consultative approach.

The main responsibilities of this role touch all aspects of the Project Lifecycle - Business Requirements Analysis, Production of the Solution Scope, the detailed design of the solution, advise and assist with build and testing activities. This will typically involve leading the Development Team through the Development activities.

Other aspects of this role include:

Collaborating with the Services Sales team and Practice Lead to develop new business opportunities including scoping and estimation activities. Assist with new engagement qualification and planning.

Define and write TM1 implementation strategies, project best practice material and Services offerings

Involvement with Product Development regarding specific product related issues, suggest improvements, participate in new version reviews.

Mentoring Junior Consultant/s


- Educated to Degree level (min)
- 4+ years TM1 delivery/implementation Experience
- Full project lifecycle experience – Initiation/Design through to Go Live
- Consulting Experience (Min 3 years)
- Previous Customer Facing role (Min 3 years)
