Functions/Duties of Position
This position is within Central Financial Services (CFS), which is the division within OHSU charged with the overall responsibility of accurately processing, reporting and interpreting the University’s financial transactions. Departments within CFS include Budgeting, Finance and Accounting, Fixed Assets, Payroll and Treasury. This position is within our Budget department and is dedicated to supporting the Cognos TM1 infrastructure of our financial planning processes. This position will be responsible for developing new Cognos TM1 models, enhancing and maintaining existing models and acting as the co-administrator of our Cognos toolset. In carrying out these duties, this position will partner with our CFS team and other BI resources to gather business requirements develop planning solutions and support initiatives to improve BI reporting capabilities. Job Requirements
Required: Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science. At least: two years experience using Cognos TM1 or Hyperion Essbase; and three years experience in Finance/Accounting. Must have strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal). The ability to interact and assist a wide range of individuals with diverse issues; proven ability to work in an environment of cooperation and teamwork. Experience and demonstrated skill with computer hardware/software including Microsoft Office products. Must possess energy, drive and capability of handling multiple priorities simultaneously with a strong attention to detail while providing a high level of customer service. Excellent problem solving skills and solid attention to details. Discretion with sensitive material. Preferred: 2 years experience developing Cognos TM1 or Hyperion Essbase strongly preferred. Experience with Cognos Framework manager a plus. Experience with Oracle Financial systems.
