Cognos Lead Consultant - Big 4 - London - Cognos 8 BI, Cognos Controller, Cognos Planning, Cognos TM1 - £55-70k + £4500 car allowance.

A Lead Cognos Consultant is required to join a rapidly expanding EPM team as a Senior Executive within one of the BIG 4. This worldwide institution have an urgent need for Senior Cognos Consultants across all technologies including Cognos 8 BI, Planning, Controller, and Cognos TM1. Working across a varied and diverse client base you will be responsible for projects from inception to completion, including the requirement gathering, design, architecture, development, implementation and reporting of Cognos Solutions.

The successful Lead Cognos Consultant will work closely with the Blue-Chip client base helping them improve the quality and efficiency of their BI, reporting, planning, forecasting, and consolidation projects. Managing both internal and consultancy teams and projects you will be a developer, a management consultant, a Mentor and a project manager with influence at director level both internally and on client site. Not only will you have the chance to get your hands on exciting projects using the latest technologies in Cognos 8 BI, Planning, Controller, and Cognos TM1, you will have a real influence within the client presenting to senior stakeholders in both a technical and non-technical way, mentor junior staff, and have ownership over your own projects, progression and destiny.

Essential Skills:

Strong skills in designing and developing solutions in at least two of the following:
Cognos 8 BI
Cognos Controller
Cognos Planning
Cognos TM1 - (urgent)

Experience in a client facing role.
Experience of leading projects and teams.
Hands-on delivery of data modelling, business intelligence, data analysis or ETL.

This role is offered on a permanent basis and due to the nature of consultancy will involved some travel from the home base.
