Post by garry cook »

I'm looking for a permanent role to work in my team with a heavy focus on TM1 based here in the UK in either Guildford or Sheffield so PM me if you're interested and I can point you to the job ad. It's a senior developer role with an expectation to spec and technically lead projects so both the technical and the business partnering skills are key, please don't contact me unless you have both.

Tech details for ref - V10.2.2 with an in-house TM1 Web portal running with data viz being moved into Tableau, data provisioning mostly coming through BW from SAP but there are a number of other interfaces as you'd expect in a FTSE 250.

Purpose of the position

As part of a team which acts as an enabling function to the wider Enabling function of Finance, you will be both leading technical system projects and contributing to larger projects as part of an experienced systems team to deliver varied key projects in line with the development pipeline. You will take the lead role in streamlining and developing TM1 projects within Finance at a key time within the team as we begin to roll out Tableau to provide higher quality data visualisation to our data. You will be a core member of the finance team possessing a rare technical skillset blend with significant technical and project management input to strategic projects. You will understand the impact of upstream and downstream systems through having an exposure to a wide system landscape and be supported in driving your own personal development both technically and professionally.

You will have ownership of your models and peer review work by other team members therefore you need to have an appropriate technical skillset within TM1 to analyse, optimise and productionise the technical model and the ability to lead technical discussions and provide onsite support to end users.

You will be taking a lead role in the rollout of the data visualisation project utilising TM1 and SAP BW data through Tableau to drive a cultural change to the reporting landscape within the business. Working within a structured development environment but able to innovate and challenge appropriately, you understand how to work as part of a team both internally and as part of the wider function.
