Hi ioscat,

The big caveat of going to IntegratedSecurityMode=5 in TM1 10.2 is that your TM1 group defined security stops working everywhere (Architect, TM1Web, Contributor).

So if you (as our current client) have a large set of TM1 group based security settings, shifting to IntegratedSecurityMode=5 means resetting the whole security.
But as far as we've tested, you can use this function to associate your Cognos Connection Group (CAMID) to TM1 group and Connection Group will inherit the all the security rules for TM1 group.
Massive time saver and absolutely unclear from documentation )

Cheers!
