Hi Gents,
I have a model in the current development that was running under IntegratedSecurityMode=5 using Active Directory as the security provider.
Today I decided to switch back to IntegratedSecurityMode=1 to do some testing on native TM1 users, but upon hitting Add New Client... I was obviously expecting native TM1 security procedure, but was navigated straight to IBM Cognos BI portal.
I puzzled by the behaviour, can you please give me some suggestions? Why is TM1 trying to reach BI Gateway under Security Mode 1? TM1 version 10.1.1
Thank you
ET

If you're using Perspectives you might have to change a setting there as well, possibly in the .ini file?

Could it be that you have the following setting in your tm1p.ini file:
AllowImportCAMClients = T
If yes, this will probably direct you to the CAM import when adding a user/group.

Re: puzzled by IntegratedSecurityMode 1 behaviour
Thanks guys,
Yes, I was looking into the .ini file for today and must have forgotten to # out AllowImportCAMClients = T. Will try it out and let you know...
But still makes think why would allow to import CAM clients under mode 1? I guess if all CAM admins fell over and you needed to import clients with standard security 1 admin rights...
What you guys think?

How does the first CAM Admin get loaded into the application?

Thanks Michel, It did the trick. Back to normal behaviourHi Evgeny,
Could it be that you have the following setting in your tm1p.ini file:
AllowImportCAMClients = T
If yes, this will probably direct you to the CAM import when adding a user/group.
