Application Design Tools Like Visio?
Does anyone use any software that works well for OLAP modeling? Im thinking of being able to create high level designs and data flows. The basics really, cubes, dimensions in the cubes and arrows for how data flows between sources. Not much more than that. Possibly something web based even would be nice.

Hi PlanningDev
I have not used anything other than Visio in the past. I have seen some posts previously on the forum with tools that I assume hooks into the API and then "automatically" draws the soution out for you but I have either been to stupid to make it work or it was too restrictive in how it presented the results.
I found this Visio stencil quite a while ago and have found it usefull for my architecture diagrams.

The actual stencil download is here

I just draw in Visio by using its in-built shapes. Group them into cubes with dimensions. Basically, you want to see the data flow relationship among them.
