User Execute TI Process

Post by dbonser »

Our users are getting an error message "Client does not have Admin Rights" - when they attempting to run a TI process. This has only just occured - previously they were able to execute - something has changed in our environment - we have hunted high and low - any ideas ? - we have checked process security settings. We are operating in a Citrix environment.

thanks

Not sure,

Does the message come up in a pop up or is it in the msg log?

I'm assuming you have ruled out the following.
-Client or server side software upgrade?
-User double clicking and opening rather than right click and execute?
-Changes to security
-Removal of Perspective licence in the Citrex environment.

What happens if you give the user admin rights?

Steve

thanks for the reply

the message comes up as a TM1 pop up error message !!
I do not beleive that there has been a client or server side upgrade
We are creating a user and giving rights to the process - as a user we get the error when we make them admin they can execute ok !!
We have noticed in the message log a number of SSL 5 errors
We the administrators have not made any changes but our tech colleagues may have made changes but it is difficult to know where to look.

thanks again

I gotta be honest I've not encountered this message before. The SSL thing comes up a lot in my message log but I don't think it has any impact.

I know the tech guys speak a different laguage but have you asked them if they made any changes

Maybe someone on 9.1 can help.

 Steve spent time with users and the issue was the double click rather than the right click run - thanks for your input

That bit of the interface is a bit counter intuitive but I guess it also stops people executing them by accident.
