I faced with a problem of creating a workflow process.
We have Regions dimension for data consolidation, which consists of Regions and Cities.
City budget should be submitted by “Responsible for data input†-> “Financial controller†-> “City financial analyst†(in this sequence).
Budgets of all cities are submitted on the level of Region by “Region financial analyst†and he has the right to edit city budgets.
"Responsible for data input" inserts some data.
"Financial controller" can edit this data or insert data in empty cells.
"City financial analyst" approves or rejects the budget.
"Region financial analyst" works with consolidated regional budgets and can edit data.
City budget contributors shouldn’t see the regional budgets.
I made a dimension "Workflow" which includes all the four roles and merged with the Regions dim.
But because of allowing data edit on all levels i suppose it's not as easy as i thought.
Can somebody help me with this problem?
I'll be appreciated for any advice..
