Decimal places in ascii file changes

Post by telula »

Hello,
When I am in TI and do a Preview of the ascii file that I want to upload, I noticed that numbers are truncated to 2 decimal places, making the consolidated data a little off from my source spreadsheet. How do I fix the decimal point problem? Any ideas?

Hi,

TM1 will take the values in the source file as given, not truncate them. If your TI input values are rounded off to 2 dp then this will be due to a setting in the saving of the source data. To fix this you need to fix the problem at the source.
