I'm new to TM1 and need to develop a solution where salesmanagers can input a discout % against products fro a selected customer. The products are organised in a structure of;
Manufacturer -> Major Product Group -> Minor Product Group -> Item.
A discount percentage can be set at any level and cascades down, with the lower the position of the discount takes precedance, ie, if a manufactures discount is set at 10% then all items are discounted at 10% unless there is a discount applied at a lower level. I thought of creating a series of pick lists, the contents of which are dependant on the selection of the previous pick list, ie a user has a list of manufactures, selects 1 and then is presented with a list of the major products groups for that manufacturer and so on till the item or groups of items are listed where a discount is applied. Is there a way to cascade pick lists or is there a better solution
