I have a client who is upgrading to TM1 9.1.4 64 bit that connects to Oracle 10g. Their IT department has installed the 64 bit Oracle drivers and from TI I can browse to the ODBC connection. However, when I try to preview the data, I get a message like Can't open connection to database. This is when using exactly the same username and password which tested the ODBC connection (using the 64 bit ODBC administrator) successfully.
Is there perhaps a specific order in which various components of Oracle need to be installed, and exactly which components would this be?
