Hi Guys
I've just started with a new customer using PAx and i am seeing some unfamiliar behavior. A user slices a report and shares it with another user. The other user connects to TM1, opens the sliced report and only a portion of the cells recalculate with the others showing #Value!. Here is where it gets interesting. Highlight one of the cells with #Value!, place your cursor in the formula bar and click the green check mark to the left and that cell recalculates. Hitting F9 or rebuild sheet does not fix the issue. We're waiting to hear back from IBM but I wanted to check here to see if anyone has seen this before. I have admin rights and were are using IBM Planning Analytics 2.0
Excel is Office 365
Using IBM Cloud
Thanks

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
If you are talking about DBRWs / custom report then you need to check the force recalc on f9 option in the PAx options to get f9 working. If you don't (I think) normal excel calcs take over and only cells that have a dependency that has changed will be refreshed.

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
Steve, thank you sir !!. That seems to have eliminated the problem on my machine. I'll check with my users and see if this works for them as well. Very much appreciate your rapid response. This is my go to place for Tm1 info

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
Looks like my excitement was premature. Last night I made the suggested change and it worked perfect. Get into the office this morning and when hard wired to the network and hit F9 then every cell goes #VALUE!. Restarted my box and connected via wireless and hitting F9 only made some cells return values. I am therefore assuming I have a network issue so will look to get my IT talking to IBM.
If anyone has ideas about any other settings I should / should not have set in PAx I would very much appreciate your comments/insights/suggestions.
Thanks
Loki

Try
[Ctrl]+[Shift]+[Alt]+[F9]
See if it works

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
Unfortunately same result as hitting F9.
Another wrinkle. We have three environments in the IBM Cloud. Connecting to Test the file works perfect. Dev and Prd are the ones producing the errors.
Thanks again for all suggestions

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
Hi All
We worked with IBM and while not able to specifically identify the root cause, they rebooted the web server and that seems to have corrected everything for now. We have requested more details about the root cause but I wanted to post this follow up and say thanks again to all who jumped in to assist. If/when I get additional information I'll be sure to post.
Thanks again

Re: PAx not fully recalculating
Hi,
Here is what I found in the Help section of PAX
CORREDIST_name=IBM Planning Analytics for Excel
COI_version=COI-AW32-ML-RTM-11.0.32.6-0
IBM has indicated they need to increase the memory on the web server but still waiting for an answer regarding the root cause.
Thanks again
