Work-around for granting access when there is no admin??

Post by AudiBoi »

Hello all

We are in the middle of switching our whole TM1 server over to a new remote server. I have full admin Access to our main cube in Architect, however there is also a Test Cube which I do not have access to and can not find anyone that has admin Access to this cube.

What are my options to be able to get access to this test cube? Typically as the main cube Admin, I just grant/change access through the cube's security settings once I log into Architect. Since I cant find anyone with admin access to this test cube, what are my options to get access to this?

thanks!

You should ask the person(s) that are part of the admin group, not just with admin access to the cube.

Thanks for the reply. I am actually in the Admin group but this test cube was built before I got here. The finance team uses it but everyone I have asked does not have admin access, other wise they would have granted me access. Are there any options ?

Thanks

If you're in the "admin" group (not a group with admin access) you get admin access by default.

Did you already test if you have admin access? It’s much quicker then asking a bunch of other people.

Are you talking about a CUBE or a SERVER? It sounds like you are confusing the two.
