How does one collapse the consolidations in Workspace hierarchy editor

In the Architect subset editor, there is a button that will collapse the consolidations, fairly simply and straightforward.
Is there anything remotely resembling that in the hierarchy editor in PA2/Workspace since one cannot deal with hierarchies in the Architect subset editor?
I guess I could ADD THE $%@! DIMENSION TO A CUBE SO I CAN EDIT USE THE SUBSET EDITOR!
