Excel Recalculation Issue (DBRW)

Post by mattzion »

Hello,

I am hoping someone can help me with the following issue I have.

We are using the following
Environment: TM1 10.2.2
Excel 2010/2013 (some users are either on one or the other)

Issue: Users are using DBRW formula on a spread sheet, connecting to TM1 through Perspectives. There are no security restrictions in place that would stop the upload however the sheet calculates and doesn’t load into TM1.
Multiple users are affected intermittently, the same sheet can be sent to another user with the same access rights and it will work.

Any suggestions on getting this fixed would be amazing.

Thanks
Matt

Hi,

what do you mean with "doesn't load into TM1"?
Is the user typing the value into the cell and after "F9" the value is not in the cube?

Hello,

- Are you sure that the user is in the same security groups compared to the user for whom it works ? I assume that for admin user it all works fine ?
- The user has not been marked as 'ReadOnlyUser' ?
- Can the user write a different cube with similar (or equal) dimensions ? Similar slices in the cube ? Etc.
- Not sure it is linked, but did you grant or deny capbilites to certain security groups ?
Best regards,

You may also want to make sure that the users with problems don't have consolidations selected.
