Hi,
I'm just messing around with creating Attribute based hierarchies in PAw.
From what I understand so far any changes in dimensional structure and/or changes in attribute values will not automatically refresh the attribute hierarchy.
Is there a command that can be run via TI to do this?
Thanks

Re: Planning Analytics - Refresh Attribute Hierarchies
A combination of the functions HierarchyDestroy and CreateHierarchyByAttribute could be useful.
But I haven't tested what happens if you use the hierarchy in say a view, you destroy it, then recreate.
If the view appears to be broken, then please post back.

I'll take a look further Wim.
You would have thought IBM would have considered making this a bit easier than having to manually create TI's yourself especially when they are driving the user via GUI to create them in the first place.

Re: Planning Analytics - Refresh Attribute Hierarchies
Having an automated process for this doesn't sell software. Having the attribute-based hierarchies in an easy to demo web tool does. Simple as that. I'm sure they'll eventually get around to it if they can focus on day-to-day PA functionality instead wasting all their time trying to get everyone to move to the "IBM Cloud".
